Refund Policy
Last updated:
1. Overview
Expelcartilageea provides online educational courses. This Refund Policy explains our voluntary refund procedures and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to remedies when services fail to meet consumer guarantees, including that services are:
- provided with due care and skill;
- fit for any disclosed purpose; and
- delivered within a reasonable time when no time is set.
If there is a major failure (for example, the course is substantially unfit for its described educational purpose, cannot be used as intended, or is not as described), you may be entitled to choose a refund, replacement, or compensation regardless of the voluntary conditions below.
3. Voluntary Refund Eligibility
In addition to your ACL rights, we offer the following voluntary refund conditions for paid digital courses:
- Within 14 days of purchase: if you are unsatisfied with the course and have completed less than 25% of the course modules, you may request a full refund.
- Technical issues: if persistent technical problems prevent access and we cannot resolve them within a reasonable timeframe (usually 10 business days).
- Duplicate purchase: if you were charged more than once for the same enrollment.
4. When Voluntary Refunds May Not Apply
Voluntary refunds under Section 3 may not apply where:
- more than 14 days have passed since purchase and there is no ACL entitlement;
- more than 25% of course content has been accessed or completed;
- the course has been fully completed;
- you change your mind after the voluntary 14-day window, except where ACL rights apply.
Promotional or discounted enrollments remain subject to ACL guarantees.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request:
- send an email to callback@expelcartilageea.world with the subject line "Refund Request";
- include your full name, enrollment date, course name, and reason for the refund;
- we will acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
6. Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved:
- refunds are processed within 10 business days;
- the refund is issued to the original payment method used for purchase;
- you receive confirmation once processing is complete.
7. Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be offered when a portion of the course has been completed but you remain within the 14-day voluntary window, calculated proportionally based on content accessed.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you paid by card or digital wallet, you may also have rights through your payment provider. Please contact us first so we can investigate promptly. Unresolved disputes may be referred to Consumer Affairs Victoria or the ACCC for general guidance.
